I am sure a lot of people can relate to the famous mantra 'I write better than I speak.'
Words pour out so easily and effortlessly onto paper for some, more than they do for others. In turn, some people find it extremely easy and natural to speak in public, engage in long debates with a group of people about any topic at any time.
It wasn't till I was High school that I embraced the former. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. My closest 'friends' growing up were Enid Blyton, J.K. Rowling (of course!), Sidney Sheldon and Lesley Pierce. Due to the countless hours I spent reading and attempting to write my own books, I became better and better at writing. Today, I communicate better and convey ideas more effectively through my writing.
Writing has been widely acknowledged as a form of therapy as well as a way of connecting with others. I aim to share ideas, perceptions and information through this site about things that elicit any type of emotion in me. I hope to cover topics that are relatable to others.
